My technical focus lies at the junction of physics, chemistry and the life sciences. My work relates to a broad spectrum of inventions ranging from mechanical engineering to molecular biology and pharmacy. In particular, my area of work covers inventions concerning instrument engineering and measurement instrumentation related to biology and medicine.
Before joining Schulz Junghans I worked at Leibniz University Hanover as a research associate in the area of molecular life sciences.
I studied biophysics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and ETH Zurich. The topic of my diploma thesis was related to the assembly of macromolecular complexes.
For my doctorate I conducted research in the area of function and structure of protease complexes at the FU Berlin and Newcastle University, UK.
